Paralegal
Seeking experienced paralegal for small law firm in Historic area of downtown Lincoln. This individual will often be the first point of contact for clients by phone and in office and must be professional as well as service and customer-oriented. Flexible hours possible.
Major Responsibilities:
- Paralegal experience with law firm. Estate Planning, Probate, and Estate Adminstration a huge plus
- Phone experience and exceptional telephone etiquette
- Composes letters, pleadings, judicial council forms, reviews excel reports, researches and maintains client files and deliverables
- Greeting and screening clients in person and over the phone
- Uses Microsoft office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Uses Adobe Document Pro extensively
- File Management & Clerical Support
- Open to taking on projects & other essential tasks as needed
Credentials and Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience performing paralega/legal/administrative duties
- 2 + year degree preferred
- Paralegal certification or more than 50% complete.
- Must be California Notary Public
Required Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge in the following programs is required: Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat & creating PDF forms, Excel, Power Point, Legal Practice works, QuickBooks, Mail Chimp email campaign management and Smokeball Document Management Software is a plus.
